Can someone give me a list of non-religious youth organizations I can join in Virginia?

November 62009

I’m 16, and I feel like I need to do something more productive than sitting around. I feel like it’s difficult to find volunteer jobs, and I think if I join some youth organization, I’ll be able to get more than just volunteering out of it, y’know? Like experience? I’m currently a member of Y Street, but I haven’t actually been active with it, and I think that there’s not much to do with Y Street in my area.

If you’re 15 try your local Fire and Rescue – when you get to be 16 you can become an Emergency Medical Technician or a Fire Fighter. Each station has different rules – go check it out…
