Feeding America is proud to partner with the Ad Council to raise awareness of domestic hunger. Our 1 in 8 campaign began in November 2008, and is running on television, radio, in print and online. Based on statistics from the United States Department of Agriculture, we know that one in eight Americans struggles with hunger each year. Through Feeding America and our nationwide network of more than 200 food banks, everyone can help the people in their life who are in need.

Acclaimed director Tony Kaye filmed the television components, which are set to the song Never Let Go by Tom Waits. The PSAs mark the first time Waits has authorized his music to be used by a nonprofit organization or corporation in a commercial application. We would like to thank Mr. Kaye and Mr. Waits for their tremendous contributions to help raise awareness of hunger in America.

Yes, we like to do things a bit differently. STANSOFT, a BPO organization, providing an equal opportunity outsource employment for capable and needy human resource all around the world is now expanding its sphere of services. Instead of money we offer employment. Instead of a limited and temporary financial help we provide a wide range of means of income for those unable to provide food for their families.

You can be a part of this network to promote this cause by:

* Suggest innovative ideas for strengthening the structure of the program

* Donate some time for this program and work with us directly as a service provider or spend sometime for doing administrative tasks like stimulating with the companies (Service buyer) and convincing the idea of our program / Blog writing / promoting over internet.
