What is the best organization to donate financial help for victims of the Ondoy floods?

We’ve been helping family and friends recover from the floods. We donated to the Red Cross through their BDO account. Now friends from abroad are asking what is the best organization to send their financial aid to. Off the top of my head, I would say Philippine National Red Cross and the Ayala Foundation. Please share your suggestions with me.

they can find some on CNN;s website. If you can get goods into the Pinoys hands through Pinoy orgs that would be great. The money ? Who knows when it will hit but it will be needed then.
I have no use for the Red Cross and wouldn’t trust them with a dime of my money.

ABS CBN’s SAGIP KAPAMILYa, the money will go to the rehabilitation of the flood victims..

sagip kapamilya…they make sure that goods reached the people..because they are giving it to them by themselves
heard that once they are asked to just leave the goods and the people there will disribute but since they are exposed to anomalies they don’t like that and insisted that some of them be left to see and participate in giving relief goods…that way it will go directly to the people in need
i like also sagip kapamilya because the one in charge of it are fine and respectable people..no politics no bias and they update the people about cash donations and goods that are donated
it makes us people be contented because we see where the donations are going

I would have to say the Red Cross. they already have the experience and the resources to handle emergencies and relief work of any kind and magnitude.
