Bi-City Woodturners

June 92010

Bi-City Woodturners was formed in 2003 as a non-profit organization focusing on the art of wood turning and is a proud member of the American Association of Woodturners.

In addition to supporting the general purposes of the American Association of Woodturners, the Bi-City Woodturners provide a meeting place for local woodturners where we share ideas and techniques regarding the craft, and exchange ideas about tools. We also engage in demonstrations at schools and other community organizations.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the art of wood turning for a nominal membership fee. Single membership is $35 and family membership is $40, annually.

Meetings are held monthly on the second Saturday from 9:00a – 12:00p at Columbus Technical College, 928 Manchester Expressway, Columbus, GA. Directions to our club meetings are located on this web site. A weekly mentoring program is held on Mondays to assist new members.

Most monthly meetings involve a demonstration from one of the members focusing on techniques, styles, or tools. Several all-day meetings are scheduled throughout the year featuring professional turners.
