When charity organizations collect soda can tabs, who pays, what are their use & what are they worth?

The whole point of charity organizations collecting pop can tabs is that it is for charity. They usually help toward the purchase of wheel chairs. I think the tabs go to metal places that recycle the aluminum. You usually need a ton of them to make any sort of money. That’s usually why the organizations accept them in large bulk.

No organizations collect them. It’s an urban legend. They are worth the price of recycled aluminum and that’s it.

All they are worth is the price of the aluminum. They’re easier to store than the whole can.
