I also support many charities who help feed people who are starving, help those who are hurting or being abused, and who fight for cures for diseases.

Al Orman Orphanage (for disable orphans) – Egypt
Children in this orphanage are not only orphans, but also disabled. I think nothing on earth is nobler than providing food and shelter for those miserable children.

I personally prefer local charities as with many of the national charities only 20% goes to actually help anyone, the rest of it goes to salaries, commercials, and pretty web sites.

I give to my local schools, homeless shelter, and domestic violence shelter.

NSPCC or anything to do with children has to be everybody’s favourite unless you are an animal lover. If I give to a charity, it would be a local one or in England at least.
