Are there ANY charitable organizations for car repairs?
March 52010
My son is a med student at TSU. I am temporarily disabled, and he has been struggling to get through med school. His vehicle broke down. He needs it desperately to attend different things that pertain to his furthering career. I’ve called many places, and the lowest repair is $1200.00 He has just been getting by, and by himself. We are basically desperate. Are there ANY charitable organizations that I can contact to help him? I’m crossing my fingers…..serious answers only please.
Check on campus and at the local High School/Technical schools.
Often they can do repairs for the cost of parts or trade it out with
a repair shop. Free check ups for the employees should be worth a couple of hundred dollars!

many high schools have partner schools like trade schools. The trade schools often have mechanics programs. If you contact local trade high schools in your area, I’m sure they could use your car to repair and teach kids for cheap….
