U.S. Office in Prishtina currently employs a Economic/Commercial Assistant, maintaining contacts with over 250 local and more than 100 U.S. companies and organizations. Our Office in Prishtina offers valuable services to U.S. companies assisting them export goods and services to Kosovo. We have actively assisted and supported a number of U.S. companies doing business in Kosovo. Our aim is primarily to help the local community by developing an environment open to business and assisting U.S. companies to export and invest in Kosovo.
We have developed excellent contacts with public and private sector officials, and are able to provide U.S. companies with necessary introductions, market reports and guidance to facilitate doing business in Kosovo. Also, we have developed an extensive cooperation with U.S. government organizations or subcontractors working on specific policy development projects within Kosovo.

First of all, Kosovo is not the middle of EU!I was respected by Albanians and others while working there.I have nice memories from Kosovo.But,if I never saw Kosovo before,I would think that it is a paradise,like Switzerland.But,it is not!The reality is totally different.Crime is not on the lowest level!Anyways,Serbs were celebrating Russians,and now Albanians are doing the same with Americans.I am in the middle,trying not to be intersted in their war above my head.If that is possible at all.

The economic situation in Kosovo is catastrophic, worst than in albania, which means WORST THAN THE POOREST COUNTRY IN EUROPE. Young albanians only dreams to go out of albania and kosovo. Even Somalia is Hollywood for albanians. The only one who have a decent life in Kosovo are the people connected to the albanian mafia.
